The Union Senior team has been awarded the win from the game against Oamaru last weekend due to Oamaru fielding an ineligible player. Jamie Ferris, a former local who now plays in the Canterbury Country competition, played for Oamaru against Union without receiving a clearance to player. North Otago Cricket reached a decision at its monthly board meeting held on Monday night deciding that Oamaru forfeited the game and awarded Union the 10 points for a win.
