The Union Senior team, on the back of a career best of 145 from Duncan Drew, completely crushed Oamaru by over 190 runs at King George Park.

Batting first Union recorded its first 270+ score with Duncan Drew scoring a career best of 145.

In reply Oamaru where all out for 80.

This win in the clubs 100th year, is the second highest win by a Union Senior side vs. Oamaru in a one innings match. Ironically the biggest is a 201 run victory in 1915, the occasion marking Union's first game at its new home of King George Park.
