John Crombie single handily won the game against St Kevin's with his second century of the season. Batting second Union looked to be in trouble with the score at 6-44 chasing St Kevin's total of 162. Crombie then dominated the St Kevin's bowling hitting 6 sixes and 10 fours in his 114 not out. The only other scores in double figures was Gavin Strachan with a score of 13, and Aaron Johnston (11 not out) who batted at number 11 after suffering a hamstring injury and batted with a runner.

Earlier Neville Donaldson had taken 4-11, and Mark Wilson had taken 3-59 as St Kevin's was bowled all out for 162. Paul Johnston (2-29) and Brendan Sidon (1-24) were the other wicket takers.
