Yesterday the School had its first experience of park and cricket and apparently did not appreciate it, for the side performed far differently from its exhibitions on tis home ground. The team is depleted as the result of end term losses, but there is still good material available, and though the boys did not themselves justice yesterday, they have a lot of cricket in them. Union battered first and made 158. Philpotts took advantage of a lot of loose bowling to get 39, J. Robertson hit up 29 in quick time, Keith got 29 and Adamson 12. The School fielding was not up to its usual standard, and several chances went astray, but Darragh is to be complimented on a very smart catch at point.
