Union lost its final match in the Dick Hunt round robin stage of the competition. Chasing 158 for victory Union was 121-7 after the completion of its 20 over's. Openers James Cutt and Glynn Cameron got Union of to a great start putting on 74 for the opening wicket before Cameron was caught by Webster of the bowling of McKenzie for 34. A collapse soon followed with the loss of 15 runs for 5 wickets. Union finishing its innings 36 runs short of Valleys total.

Earlier like the game in previous week Valley got of to a good start with Kelvin Mansfield scoring his second half century in as many weeks against the Union, but once again the fighting sprit that is evident in for the Union senior team this season showed again as they pulled back the scoring to restrict Valley to a modest 157 in twenty over's. Daniel Conlon was the best of the bowlers taking 3-17 while Paul Johnston took 2-19.
