John O. Smyth

The Union Cricket Club was saddened with the news of the passing of life member Dick Smyth recently after a long battle with illness.

Dick played a number of seasons for the club, including over 100 senior games, and was awarded life membership in 1971. Recently he was frequently seen watching the Union Senior team at their fixtures during the season and will be missed by the club.
