Sidon takes five as Senior Reserves beat Eastern

The Union Senior Reserve side had a high scoring win against Eastern after Kirk Sidon took a five wicket bag in the game played at King George Park.

Batting first Union scored 251 for the loss of seven wickets with John Anderson continuing his good form with the bat this season, top scoring with 64. Dylan Edwards (55) and Manoj Thomas also notched up half centuries.

Eastern were then bowled out for 177 with Murray Dempster top scoring with 92, while Sidon took 5-28. A win to Union by 74 runs.
