Easter Tour Batting - Nelson Johnston Trophy

About:

The Nelson Johnston Trophy is awarded to the batsman who has scored the most runs during the easter tour. This trophy was donated to the club by Nelson Johnston who was a keen supporter of Union, and designed the club logo, the 'winged claw'. It was first awarded to Russell Payne for the Easter Tour in 1966. If two or more players are equal, the trophy is awarded to the player who has the higher batting average.
