The Dick Hunt Memorial is for the winner of the Senior Holiday Competition. Donated by the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force after the Second World War it is named after Richard Hunt who was of some note in the 2NZEF. Up till the early 1990s the Dick Hunt was a challenge trophy with teams playing the holder on Sundays. Currently this competition is played during December and January during the school holidays.
