The Union Senior team lost its first game of the Borton Cup season in the weekend with a 64 run loss to Albion.

Albion lost the toss and was forced to bat and scored 212 runs after 45 over's. Paul Johnston was the main wicket taker for the Union attack taking 3-50, while Dan Conlan (2-41) and Glynn Cameron (2-52) each took two wickets.

Union were all out for 149 in 32 over's with Mitch McRae the top scorer with 43, while James Cutt (31) and Paul Johnston (23) both scored 20 or more runs.
